Noordhoek Open Studios 2026

Noordhoek Open Studios began in the 1990s as a charity-driven initiative — a way for artists to come together and raise much-needed funds for local causes. While the event has grown over the years, that original intention remains at the heart of the weekend. Supporting our chosen charity is still the most significant part of what we do.

This year, 28 Noordhoek artists will be opening their studio doors to the public on Saturday and Sunday, 14 & 15 March, from 10:00 to 17:00 each day.

Open Studios invites you into the artists’ working spaces — a rare opportunity to meet the artists where they create, chat about their processes, see works in progress, and experience art in a deeply personal way. It’s informal, relaxed, and welcoming — and if you fall in love with a piece, you can support artists directly by purchasing from them.

What truly sets Noordhoek Open Studios apart is our strong sense of community. This is not an exclusive or intimidating event. We believe everyone has something meaningful to share, and we welcome artists at all stages of their journey. We celebrate diversity, experimentation, conversation, and connection — and we’re proud of the warm, down-to-earth spirit that defines Noordhoek and its artists.

Our chosen charity is the incredible Masi Sports. As regular donors, we’ve been able to help introduce visual arts to a school of young children who previously had no access to art. We believe deeply in the importance of creativity in childhood development, and we’re grateful to be part of that journey.
